We offer electroplating for tea sets, candelabra, trays, flatware, and any other silverplate item that has since worn and lost its' original splendor. Popular brass re-plating items include lamps and chandeliers, hardware and cast iron tub feet. Those heavy old torchiere lamps and bridge lamps from the 20's and 30's stashed in a corner of the attic can be quite stunning when refinished. As with any copper and brass item, the same antique, satin and butler finishes can be applied once a new plating has been formed. There has been a resurgence of nickel finishes in building and household design. Some folks call it a pewter finish which is what it resembles. Like all the rest, nickel can be bright, antiqued or brushed. I hope to have some photos posted soon!
